Though rather low-key versus prior years (eh-hem must I relive the twerking & foam finger?), the VMAs still brought us a few memorable moments - Nicki's wardrobe malfunction, Ariana's sequined onesie, Adam Levine (hotdamn!), Taylor's performance of my latest obsession "Shake It Off", the impeccably hilarious save by Jim Carrey after a slip on stage, and nonetheless, Beyonce's night-capping performance. But I have to say, beyond the glitz and glamour, my favorite moment by far was this year's version of Miley, as she sent up a homeless youth instead to accept her Moon Man for Video of the Year. I've had my positive and negative feelings toward her since her last VMA appearance, but last night she earned mad respect from me.
But let's be honest, the fashion is the real reason we watch these award shows. It was tough to narrow them down, but here are some of my absolute favorite looks from last night!
